Dermotique Cosmedics was founded in 2005 on a singular guiding principle: to provide clients with exceptional skin through professional services, effective treatments, and an unmatched understanding of skin care.
For over two decades, we have been Gladstone's trusted destination for cosmedic skin and laser treatments, helping our clients achieve the skin they deserve.
Dr Angeline Viljoen
Director & In-House Practitioner
Dr Angeline Viljoen brings over three decades of medical experience and a deep commitment to aesthetic medicine. After earning her medical degree in South Africa in 1991, she relocated to Canada where she obtained her LMCC certification and practised as a Family Physician.
Dr Viljoen eventually settled in Gladstone, Queensland, where she practised as a General Practitioner for four years before founding Dermotique Skin and Laser Clinic in 2005. Now rebranded as Dermotique Cosmedics, the clinic enters a new era with a renewed vision focused on advanced aesthetic treatments.
She is the only practitioner in Gladstone with an ablative laser for lesion removal, making Dermotique the destination for GP referrals. With a genuine passion for the cosmetic and aesthetic field, Dr Viljoen continually updates the clinic with cutting-edge technologies and the latest techniques.

- MB.ChB — University of the Orange Free State (1991)
- LMCC — Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2000)
